Jeniece Fairbairn Summers, also known as Jena, has grown up around Robertson (but attended Warwick Neck) since her mother started working there in the early 90s! She has a daughter in 4thGrade, a son in Kindergarten, and she tosses cabers for fun!
Karen Kinder, who answers to “KK,” grew up an “Army Brat” and after moving around her whole life, has made Warwick her home. She enjoys volunteering for the Robertson PTO, Pack 1 Warwick Cub Scouts, and her church. Her son is in 3rd Grade.
Corry Wheeler has also grown up in Warwick and within the school system (and crossed many sports/school paths with Jena too!). She is still an avid soccer player and has two daughters; one in 5thGrade and one at the Middle School.
Craig Parkhurst is a transplant who grew up on Cape Cod and moved to Warwick after graduating from URI. He enjoys boating and house projects, and has a son in 2nd Grade.
The number one reason to join the Parent Teacher Organization is to benefit your children. In doing so, you also help your school. However, there are many more advantages. Here are just a few:
The Parent Teacher Organization, or PTO, was created for the purpose of bringing a clearer understanding between the home and the school so that parents/guardians and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education and activities of the children in an effort to secure for the students the most efficient physical, mental, social, and ethical education possible.
The PTO is made up of several officers as well as our wonderful school staff and volunteers. There is an Executive Board and body of voting members, and the PTO could not run without the help and dedication of our many Committee Chairs and their committee members! Please reach out if you are interested in helping with our Committees!
